Deputy Manager

Overview

The Enterprise Deputy Manager reports directly to the program manager and is responsible for assisting in the management procedures and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages assigned contractually required tasks.

  • Provide expert direction and guidance to ensure that necessary systems are developed, deployed, operated, implemented, and supported in a manner consistent with customers policies and procedures, to include recommending service continuation, modification, or termination based on these activities.

  • Oversee service levels and budgets, monitor alignment with customer’s goals and objectives, agreed upon key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Lead, plan, and author resource strategies, analytical issue papers, strategic evaluations, background papers, resource issue papers, and other analytic products applying extensive subject matter knowledge to support the senior leadership in making decisions.

  • Leads or directly supports senior-level engagement to secure authoritative positions on enterprise issues, from policy to funding and managing the implementation of enterprise-level, executive decisions.

  • Identify management processes, organizational process assets, best practice instructions and innovative solutions.

  • Ensure consistent adoption and utilization of PMO methodology and tools.

  • Administer all facets of enterprise-level PMO projects/programs and oversee cross-functional resources for full lifecycle of initiative.

  • Design and deploy the service orchestration architecture for integration of all external applications and third-party partners.

  • Oversee and participate in delivery and execution of quality assurance artifacts that validate the requirements of the business are meet.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Clearance: Secret or higher

Education:      

  • Require a BS in IT or related field degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience managing a PMO within a portfolio Enterprise IT project

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. 

Highly desired qualifications:

  • Experience providing IT-centric PMO support in organizations with emphasis on international development, business or trade.

  • Experience with ServiceNow.
