Enterprise Systems Architect

Provide architecture readiness review of infrastructure/systems/COTS (AWS services, Citrix, VMWare, Oracle) to ensure:
Design decisions are documented in Solutions Architecture Design documentation.
Solution is modeled and documented to meet performance characteristics.
Ensure scalability is in concert with supporting system architecture.
Review operations documentation with engineering staff (User, Knowledge, SOP).
Develop recovery runbooks with engineering staff for individual COTS products.
Plan and prioritize operational activities pertaining to releases, updates, system interfaces, implementation, etc.
Lead capacity planning and solution scaling solutions.
Understand and help team prepare for operational events.
Participate in performance and scalability testing to capture metrics on core infrastructure dependencies.
Document all changes, defects, incidents, and knowledge using ITSM tools.
Document and justify proposed bill of materials changes/updates.
Facilitate Tier 3 incident support during major outages as required.
Proficient understanding of organizational structure and work effectively or lead the current team.
Determine process measures and track to determine process effectiveness and efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar technical field.
Minimum of 12 years of related systems engineering experience.
Experience engineering solutions on one or more of the following is required: AWS, Citrix, VMWare, Oracle
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams of Engineers.
Knowledge of enterprise support systems in an Enterprise environment
Knowledge of supporting Cloud and On-Prem systems in an Enterprise environment
Knowledge of SDDC and SDN in an Enterprise environment
Knowledge of VDI in an Enterprise environment
Knowledge of Storage and Backup subsystems in an Enterprise environment
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
